  1. A very interesting photos. I lite its colors and its composition.
    I have a question, if you don’t mind. Do you crop your images or do you post them as they were taken?

    • Thank you very much Cornell! I end up cropping most of my photos at least a little, for larger birds it’s mostly for composition. In general, the smaller the bird, the more I need to crop, but not always. I had a pretty good two days off from work this week, and even many of the images that I shot of smaller birds required no cropping at all. Of the three images you commented on, the starling wasn’t cropped at all, the duckling cropped only for composition, and the tanager was cropped quite a bit.
